The application has been redesigned for the better usage. We have created a new main screen with the simple and easy-to-use navigation. Added the advertisement possibility on the winner’s screen for the better promotion of the application in Play Market

Created the new looks of the application due to the client’s requirements and thanks to that the users can now easily navigate through the app. The new advertisement feature has been added so that the client could now profit more without adding any additional and paid functionality

TASKS

  • Implement the Background Sync Process, the Partial Sync Process (by the last sync date), and the Pagination Sync Process for the Recipes for Android;

  • Implement the Photo cropping for recipes and Adjusting its rotation, adjust the brightness and contrast via 2 sliders for Android;

  • Implement the switch function for the photo for the recipe to grayscale, black and white for Android


​SOLUTIONS
We have added the background sync process for the recipes with the pagination into a separate thread which is triggered by each change of the recipe. We have also handled the cases when the user may edit (delete, update, add) the recipes during the syncing process. We have added the editing module of the recipe photos so that the user could adjust them according to his or her preferences

OUTCOME
With the new background syncing process of the recipes, the users will not be blocked anymore. The partial background sync process made the syncing faster and the pagination possibility for that process has reduced the memory consumption on the server-side. Now the users can easily edit their photos for the recipes in various ways
